There are two good restaurants in the village and many eating places within a short drive. Wine is readily available at very reasonable prices and should be drunk in the tranquil setting of the garden.

With two small towns and the River Dordogne only a ten-minute drive away, L’Houme is a perfect base for a variety of different types of holiday: activities including cycling, walking, horse-riding, golf, water sports, or bird-watching; visiting historic sites or exploring the vineyards of Bergerac and Bordeaux; or just relaxing!

(Shirley and Ian Longden)

“We had a wonderful few days. We will be back.” (Linda and Alex Rodgers)
