The
medical centre in St. Méard de Gurçon has two doctors.
The surgery is located on the Villefranche road on the right hand
side as you are leaving the village. Don't forget your E111 form
or EHIC card before travelling abroad!

The
village pharmacy recently moved to brand new premises on the road
out towards Montpon, a five-minute walk from the centre of the village
and easily visible thanks to the green neon cross sign! A wide range
of medicines, both regular and alternative, is stocked, and English
is spoken. The pharmacist, Jean-Luc Grelaud, will also help you
identify any wild mushrooms you may have picked!

The
nearest dental surgeries are located in Ste. Foy la Grande and Montpon,
both about 6 miles from the village. There is at least one English-speaking
dentist in Ste. Foy. Note that you may have to pay fully for any
dental care and this may not always be refundable.

is a small cottage hospital in Ste. Foy la Grande, with a larger
