Ste.
Foy La Grande
- officially recognised as one of the 100 best France, the narrow
12th century streets of Ste. Foy La Grande come alive every Saturday
morning to the sites, sounds and smells of a fantastic market that
seems to sell just about anything you can think of!
Spend
an hour or two wandering round then head for the central square
for a coffee or a beer and watch the world go by!

Montpon
- The northern equivilent to Ste. Foy La Grande, the town of Montpon
may lack a little charm, but its midweek market is a match for any.
If anything it's a little more French than its Saturday sister,
if only because the town is less of a tourist magnet. This is another
big market that stretches through winding streets and never seems
to end - there's little you can't find here.

St.
Méard de Gurçon
- perhaps the smallest market in France, our valiant village market
last summer grew to a full six stalls, though out of season often
runs to just two or three! What you always get is some of the best
fresh fish and seafood around, and a good selection of fruit and
vegetables. What you might get as well is poultry, charcuterie,
flowers and cheese - as well as a very friendly welcome!
