Situated a couple of miles south of Saint Méard de Gurson on the road to Sainte Foy le Grande .

Open Friday, Saturday & Sunday for lunch from May. Evenings Friday and Saturday.

Run by a family Didier & Merille, both speak excellent English. Their restaurant is in a beautiful banqueting hall with mistrel gallery, table settings and ambience very congenial.

They offer 3 menus – 16E, 20E and 23E. plus à la carte. Menu changes twice a year.

Cuisine is traditional French food, with a speciality of Alsace cooking to order.

Didier prefers to control the numbers in his restaurant, so that he can offer individual delicious meals, cooked to a very high standard in a relaxed atmosphere. He specialises in veal and lamb for the English visitors and is very happy to come and talk after your meal. His love is flying – you have been warned.

His Alsace cuisine includes Alsace tart, savoury base of onions, lardons, cheese, mushrooms etc. Also he prepares Baeckaoeffa, a selection of meats casseroled, and sauerkraut with pork, salad and potatoes.
