on a hill, with lovely views of the vineyards of Montazeau from
the terrace, this restaurant offers beautifully cooked and presented
food, served by enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff.
Menus range
from 16E for a 4 course meal to 23E for 5 courses. Childrens menu
of 7E also available.
This
is one of our favourite eating places. Try stuffed mussels, Saint
Jacques shellfish in puff pastry, or warm goats cheese starters,
with veal in mushroom sauce, or roast lamb shank, fish or duck for
plat du jour.
Cheese
board is always interesting local offerings, and dessert try siaskas
a fromage blanc and cream with raspberry coulis in kir! The choice
is yours!
The
specialities offered are Alsacian , which includes sauerkraut with
pork, knuckles of ham and meat tarte with mixed salad. Delicious!
It
is possible to order omelette/salad if menu is not to your taste.
